Audu Maikori resigning as CEO of Chocolate City in June

27th April 2015 In the music world, CEO of Chocolate City record label for 10 years Audu Makori has announced his intention to hand over the mantle of leadership to an undisclosed successor by June this year.

During the just concluded Nigerian Entertainment Conference 2015 which took place at Eko Hotels, Lagos, Audu Makori says his resignation is in order to inject fresh ideas from the younger generation into Chocolate City.

M.I Agaba, who is the vice president of Chocolate City, recently merged his Loopy Music record label with Chocolate City hence prompting speculations that he could be the next CEO of Chocolate City come June.

However, Chocolate City boasts of other fresh-blooded signees such as Ice Prince, Loose Kaynon, Jesse Jagz, DJ Caise Ruby Gyang and others.
