Nadal says he's in good shape for u.s. open and shows off his style in sexy underwear campaign for designer Tommy Hilfiger

Aug 31, 2015 Tennis superstar Rafael Nadal recently affirmed that he is in optimal shape ahead of the U.S. Open while showing off his sporty figure in a new underwear campaign by American sportswear designer Tommy Hilfiger.

During a promotional event for a Tommy Hilfiger underwear campaign, the 29-year-old Spaniard said:

“I’ve been playing well the last couple of weeks. I’m in better shape than a few months ago, then arrived the competition and everything that happened. But I’m confident that I can play well,”

Hilfiger, who had earlier fingered Nadal as a perfect fit for brand ambassador, announced that they were considering an expansion beyond underwear.

“He has not an ounce of fat on his body and I thought that if we needed an underwear model at some point it should be Rafa. I called him in the spring, we’ve been friends for over 10 years. He said look I’ve been practising a lot, I’m busy but I’d like to do it. So we added fragrance and tailored clothing to the mix. So underwear, clothing and the new fragrance you have to try – it’s called Bold.”
