The 'It' Guys of EbonyLife TV

Arit Okpo is a producer, presenter, writer and lover of food.

She loves to eat; she may not look like it, but she states “I will eat anything, and I’m a traditional food kinda girl too. Pounded yam and afang soup, peppered snails”.

She’s also a bookworm – give her a book and she’ll get lost in its pages for hours on end, “I love to read”.

Arit Okpo can be very shy and she’s very much an introvert, going on to say, “It’s why I like social media, because I can interact with people without having to interact

With a recent appreciation for travel, she has promised herself to see as much of the world as she can, because the world is too beautiful to sit still.

Emmanuel Edunjobi (also known as EmmaOhMaGod) is a Comedian, Events Compere (majorly known as “The Wedding MC”), producer (music and radio), musician, actor and content provider. In his own words “No be one road enter market”.

He loves to make music and also to make people laugh – no wonder he combines both most times.
He is one of the major “Musicomedy” acts in Nigeria and he causes a major buzz on the internet whenever he releases new material (some of such material being “Wash me nene”, “Chris brown in Ojuelegba”, “Naija Babes response to davido”… to mention a few).
He is surprisingly a very shy guy in person and quite sane actually compared to what you say on the TV and social media..no wonder he always says “Emmanuel and EmmaOhMaGod are 2 different people”.

Fun Facts

Zainab has a weird obsession with needles and enjoys the odd injection here and there.
She never puts a drink carton down without chewing the straw a few times.
Zainab is a confessed foodie and will try almost anything at least once.

Tosin Odunfa has been quite the talker for as long as he can remember, so being a TV presenter is pretty much second nature. His first TV job was at 21 for a show called Hotstuff and at University in America (Howard University). He was one of the go-to-guys to be the host for school shows.

After University, it was MCing weddings for friends and family. He then became an “On-Air Personality” with Classic FM in 2010 and then he got picked to join the EbonyLife TV team after participating in the reality TV contest Mo’s Search.

Tosin loves music and his favourite musicians are overwhelmingly Nigerian. Here are some of his favourite and in his words: 2Face is a prolific songwriter writer, Vector is  a poetic lyricist who has a relaxed personality and D’Banj is an aggressive entrepreneur who makes monster hits. Chidinma is a delightful spirit with a great voice. Phyno and Olamide, Show Dem and of course Tiwa brought sexy back to female musicianship.

Ade Laoye is a cool chick. She’s not one to toot her own horn too loudly but really, she’s totally awesome. The almost youngest in a family of 5 daughters, she’s had a lot of “diva” practice and can “Sasha Fierce” with the best of them. A musical theatre geek on crack, she is known to spontaneously burst into song, most likely show tunes. Watch out for those jazz hands.

She absolutely believes that an amazing personality and a great smile will get you very far – both of which she possesses. She believes in the healing powers of Ribena and ice-cream, but not necessarily in tandem. She believes that New York is the greatest city in the world, although she can’t wait to go to Paris. She believes that her family is the best gift that she has been given and for that, she is ridiculously thankful. The mantra “what doesn’t kill me, doesn’t kill me” has kept her going through life’s rough patches.
