Pochettino happy with spurs squad as transfer window opens
Jan 04, 2016 Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino recently revealed that his club will only bring in players with the ability to improve the team during the January transfer window.
While addressing reporters during a news conference, Pochettino said:
“Today I’m very happy with the squad that we have and I think we have a strong squad and in the place that we are, after 19 games, means that we are in a very good way and our decisions were good. Only if we can help the team and can improve the team then maybe we take some decision but for that is to be right and to be sure that if we need some player to bring it is the right profile,
He then went on to say that he was happy with the relationship between the team and the supporters.
“I think that our supporters are very happy with the team, they share the values now. You can see at every single game, at White hart Lane or away, that they are unbelievable and back the team. I think that it is a very important thing that our supporters believe in the team and believe in us and believe we can achieve good things. I think this is the most important thing. This is the first step to try to win some title.”
