Kenyan acclaimed movie “Veve” to be screened at Hamburg Filmfest
16th Sep 2014 Over to Kenya, movie director Simon Mukali’s latest movie titled “Veve” is set to be screened at the Hamburg Filmfest on October 2nd.
The movie, which tells the story of a man with dreams of becoming one of the most powerful people in the country and the challenges he faces, is one of 2 movies that were accepted from Africa in the Hamburg Filmfest.
“Veve” stars Lowry Odhiambo, Mudigi of Sauti Sol as well as Lizz Njagah .
According to critics, “Veve” is expected to be the next best movie after David ‘Tosh’ Gitonga’s movie “Nairobi Half Life” which was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the Oscars.
