Murdered South African goal keeper Senzo Meyiwa to be buried 1st of November.
29th Oct 2014 And finally South Africans are still in shock following the tragic death of Orlando Pirates and National team goalkeeper and captain Senzo Meyiwa who was shot in the chest by armed robbers who invaded his girl friend’s house.
Speaking in a statement, South African president Jacob Zuma has urged law enforcement authorities to “leave no stone unturned” in finding the killers, with police offering a reward of nearly $23,000 for information leading to their arrest and conviction.
Meanwhile funeral arrangements are being made for the late goal keeper who will be buried in his home town Umlazi in Durban on Saturday the 1st of November. He died aged 27.
