Democratic Republic of Congo Declares their Country Officially Free of Ebola Virus.
18th Nov 2014 In some more positive news in the fight against the Ebola disease, the government of the Democratic Republic of Congo has announced that the country is officially free of the disease. The outbreak, involved a different strain from the Ebola currently affecting some countries in West Africa, and killed at least 49 people over 3 months.
According to Health Minister Felix Kabange Numbi, No new cases have been registered since October 4, said but he still leaves a word of warning, saying “The end of the epidemic … does not mean we are completely out of danger.
