D’banj allegedly in debt

26th Nov 2014 Celebrated afro-pop singer D’banj had raised millions of naira from businessmen to invest in the entertainment industry but has failed to meet up to his part of the bargain, according to TheNet.ng.

D’banj is said to have accrued a debt of over 147 million naira and rumour has it that he would soon be served with a court notice.

However, D’banj seems to be denying these claims by putting up a twitter post saying “Silence… Here is my response to the false rumours” and ends the post with a link to his latest music video which he did in the US with afro-pop singer Oritse Femi.

Are these allegations really false rumours? Time will tell.
