Capetown prepares for Africa’s biggest mining CEOS

27th Jan 2015 The chief executive officers from some of Africa’s most attractive mining companies will converge from the 9th till 12th of February this year, in Cape Town, South Africa,  for the annual Investing in African Mining Indaba. The event is the world’s preferred destination for making deals in African mining and will this year host more than 900 mining corporate firms who have confirmed their attendance.

Managing Director of the Mining Indaba, Jonathan Moore is quoted as saying “For more than 20 years, Africa’s mining companies have played a pivotal role in the success and growth of the Mining, in fact it is viewed as an investment barometer that generates significant media interest and business news coverage globally. In bringing Africa’s top mining leaders, we showcase all of Africa’s attractive mining investment opportunities to global investors seeking to invest in new projects and regions on the continent.”
The meeting will discuss both current and new projects, corporate initiatives and other important plans that investors want to hear from the captains of the mining industry in Africa. With Ebola, strikes and protests affecting much of the continent’s mining in 2014, we certainly look forward to seeing this meeting create a more positive outlook for 2015.
