Guinea gets new coach
May 7 , 2015 Guinea has a new coach in the person of Luis Fernandez. Fernandez will oversee the activities of Guinea’s national men’s team, as stipulated in his 20 month contract which has been signed and sealed by all necessary parties.
Fernandez who previously coached teams such as Paris St Germain, will take charge of bids to qualify for the 2017 African Nations Cup and the 2018 World Cup.
The coach has revealed that he will be accompanied by former players Amara Simba and Kaba Diawara in his duties and that his goal is to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations in 2017.
Fernandez, has spent the last years as a high profile radio pundit in France, but will now focus on the new job which he has taken over from Michel Dussuyer.
