Ghana wins U 20 tournament
May 18 , 2015 Ghana has won a four-nation tournament that acts as a preparatory ground for the Fifa U-20 World Cup billed to take place in New Zealand this year. The mock, tournament recently ended in New Zealand. The Black satellites led by Coach Sellas Tetteh walked into their last game with Australia with six points from two previous wins, and walked out with a 2-0 win
Emmanuel Boateng, who scored his fourth goal of the tourney, started the victory, before Manchester City’s Yaw Yeboah added the second goal to increase his tally to two goals from three matches in the competition.
This result means Ghana won all three matches scoring with their fifteen goals while conceding two. The team will leave for Australia for a 14-day training tour before returning to New Zealand for the World Cup due to begin May 30.
Tetteh invited 35 players for the pre-tournament camping, and is expected to announce his final 21-man squad shortly.
The Black satellites will contend Argentina, Panama and Austria in Group B.
