U.S. Secretary of State Kerry tweets photo of himself in hospital.

June 15, 2015 John Kerry, America’s Secretary of State  has been reported to be doing well and undergoing physical therapy in Boston hospital after surgery on a broken right leg which he sustained cycling in Geneva. He is making progress, but doctors have not revealed when he is going home.

According to State Department spokesman Jeff Rathke, Kerry is doing well and overseeing his duties by telephone from Massachusetts General Hospital. And just to show that he wasn’t out for the count, 71 year old Kerry later took to twitter where he shared a photo of himself in hospital talking on the phone, dressed in a shirt and blue hospital scrubs.

The photo was captioned “Feeling good a week after surgery, Good chats today w/Ambassador Rice & @StateDept senior team. The work continues.”

We wish him a quick recovery.
