Lancelot Imaseun’s invasion 1897 to tour US

Let’s start with news for all Nollywood lovers in the Diaspora as we gather veteran film director Lancelot Imaseun is on the ready to tour the US with his film ‘Invasion 1897’.
The award-winning film which is based on historical events in the Benin Empire in the 18th century will be making stops from August to Chicago, Boston, Atlanta and New York respectively.
Invasion 1897 premiered at the Toronto Africa Film & Music Festival last year and stars Mike Omoregbe, Segun Arinze, Rudolph Walker, Charles Inojie, Paul Obazele, the late Justus Esiri amongst others.
