Bolt sweeps sprint golds with relay win in Beijing
Sep 2, 2015 Usain Bolt recently secured a clean sweep of the sprint gold medals at the IAAF world championships for the third time when he helped the Jamaican relay team to a fourth successive 4×100 meters title in Beijing.
Prior to the race, the 29-year-old world record holder had already won the 100 and 200 meters events with Justin Gatlin coming second on both occasions.
Team USA looked to have taken second place, but was later disqualified after Mike Rodgers failed to take the baton before he crossed the yellow line.
Victory for Bolt meant a record-extending 11th world gold for him, having also claimed all three sprint titles at the 2009 and 2013 world championships.
