Sixth military world games kicks off in South Korea
Oct 06, 2015 The sixth Military World Games recently kicked off with a grand opening ceremony in Mungyeong, South Korea. The events, which will last for 10 days, is expected to host about 8,000 athletes from 105 countries.
With its history spanning over 20 year, the Military World Games is a multiple-sport event organized every four years by the International Military Sports Council. Aside from the regular sports, the games also include several military sport events such as aeronautical pentathlon, naval pentathlon, parachuting and orienteering.
