Argentine presidential candidate Daniel Scioli meets with Brazil's Rousseff

Oct 19, 2015 The front-runner in Argentina’s presidential race, Daniel Scioli recently met with Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff as he tries to drum up international support for his campaign.

The Argentine politician also met with Uruguayan President Tabare Vazquez in Montevideo ahead to this month’s elections.

Scioli also sat down with Brazil’s former President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, former Uruguayan President Jose Mujica, Bolivian President Evo Morales and former French President Nicolas Sarkozy.

The leader of the Centre-right opposition PRO party, Mauricio Macri is Scioli’s closest challenger followed by centrist candidate Sergio Massa in third place.
