International base jumping tournament ends in Guizhou
Nov 11, 2015 The 2015 China Anshun Balinghe Bridge International Base Jumping Tournament recently wrapped up proceedings.
At the end of the tournament, Australian BASE jumper, Greg Henderson took home the top prize after three rounds of the competition. Nathan Pertuset from the United States and Klaus Renz from Germany emerged second and third respectively.
The tournament hosted thirty world class base jumpers from 13 countries. The participants showed off their unique skills in mid-air, some of which tumbled, danced or held selfie sticks before deploying their parachutes 100 meters from the ground.
Spectators screamed and shouted as each jumper took the leap from the world’s highest bridge.
