Cassper Nyovest named South Africa’s hottest MC

Dec 02, 2015 South African rapper Cassper Nyovest has been crowned as South Africa’s hottest MC for the year 2015 by MTV Base Africa.

This was revealed in the music channel’s top 10 countdown, which had Cassper Nyovest’s number one rival AKA rated as the second hottest MC in South Africa, followed by rapper K.O and Ricky Rick.

MTV Base Africa’s rating caused a storm among social media users who criticized the rating, especially rapper Kid X who was rated 8th on the list.

Taking to his twitter account, Kid X refers to the countdown as a joke and absolute thrash.
