U.S. coast guard rescue sailor off the Oregon coast
Dec 11, 2015 A U.S. Coast Guard from Air Facility North Bend recently rescued a sailor after his boat was caught in the rough sea in the Pacific Northwest.
According to a video released by the U.S. Defense Department, the Coast Guard MH-65 Dolphin helicopter aircrew pulled a distressed sailor out from water at 17 miles off the Oregon coast, after the man was reportedly distressed at sea.
Afterwards the Coast Guard officials in the Pacific Northwest urged mariners to take precautions in rough weather conditions or to avoid going out to sea all together.
