Idris Elba Premieres “Beast of no Nation” in Lagos

Dec 17, 2015 Yet on movie premieres, British-Sierra Leonean actor, singer and DJ, Idris Elba showed up in Lagos for the Premiere of his movie “Beast of No Nation” which went down at the Silverbird Galleria, Victoria Island, Lagos on Saturday December 12.

Turning up at the event were various celebs and personalities including Genevieve Nnaji, Juliet Ibrahim, Gbenro Ajibade, Osas, Ajibade, Uru Eke, Delphine, Nse-Ikpe-Etim, Ghanaian award-winning child actor Abraham Attah, Koko Master D’Banj, Silverbird CEO Senator Ben Bruce, “Beast of No Nation” author Uzodinma Iweala, his mother, former Finance Minister Okonjo Iweala and several others.

Shot in Ghana, the movie “Beast of No Nation” is the story of a young boy who is forced to join a unit of mercenary fighters during a civil war after his father was killed by militants.
