Celebs shine at Glo-Caf awards 2015

Jan 11, 2016 Moving on to the recently concluded GLO-CAF Awards 2015, where celebrated African athletes won prestigious awards at the International Conference Centre, Abuja on Thursday January 7.

Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang won the biggest award of the night – African Footballer of the Year – which Ivorian soccer star Yaya Toure has won for the past 4 years.

Performing at the event were stars as P Square, Lagbaja, Omawumi, Flavour and many more.

Other celebs spotted include comedian AY, Jackie Appiah, Nadia Buari, Van Vicker, Funke Akindele, Bovi, Vincent Enyeama, Jay Jay Okocha, Lynxxx, Richard Mofe Damijo, 2baba and several others.

The event was hosted by Ghollywood star Juliet Ibrahim, while ‘Megbele’ singer Omawumi made her debut red carpet hosting.
