Simphiwe Dana signs contract with Sony music

3 June 2014 On the African scene, South African singer Simphiwe Dana  has taken to twitter to announce that she signed a contract with Sony Music.

The Xhosa singer and song-writer is known for her unique combination of jazz, afro-soul, traditional music and even rap. She’s even rated as the new Miriam Makeba.
