Aka sets off new social media trend with Phone-Money

19th Dec 2014 In related news, AKA has started a new trend in South Africa and beyond, after he used a stack of money as a phone in his latest music video titled “All Eyes on Me” featuring Nigerian dancehall star Burna Boy, and fellow South African rappers JR & Da L.E.S.

Now this pose has set off a new trend on social media where AKA’s fans post pictures of themselves using a stack of money-phones to call AKA on his twitter account.

AKA has got many of such phone-money calls including one from hip hop star K.O, and even from a fan in Tanzania and Nigeria.

You’ve got to love the money-phone call to AKA from a fan who only has a 10 rand money-phone with a message that says “insufficient funds”.
