Akon set to launch Solar Academy in Mali

Thumbs up to Konvict Music boss, Senegalese-American pop star Akon, who is set to establish a “Solar Academy” in Mali through his “Akon Lighting Africa” programme

As part of his target to provide electricity to 600 million Africans, Akon’s Solar Academy is expected to train engineers to develop solar-powered system in Africa.
