Angelique Kidjo dedicates Grammy to women of Africa.

12th Feb 2015 Still on big deals, it’s never too late to send out some love to multiple-award winning Benin singer Angelique Kidjo who over the weekend scooped her second Grammy award for Best World Music album – an honour which she humbly dedicated to the women of Africa.

Receiving her award she said, “Women of Africa, you rock! For me, music is a weapon of peace and today more than ever, as artists we have a role to play in the stability of this world.”

She was also spotted with an excited Kunle Afolayan on her way to New York from LA.
