At Milan Fashion Week, Cinderella goes to Dolce & Gabbana

March 01, 2016 Italian designer brand Dolce & Gabbana recently drew inspiration from fantasy fairytale Cinderella his women’s wardrobes for next winter.

Against a stage backdrop made of an open story book, golden carriage and a clock ticking towards midnight, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana sent models out in a typically colorful and vibrant collection of richly-embellished dresses with patterns referring to tales such as “Cinderella” and “Snow White”.

The designers also used lots of floral and cat prints in their creations.

Black and white tweed coats and large dresses, embellished with sparkling flowers, were also featured.

For the finale, models changed into short pink and silver sequin covered dresses.
