Bono in studio with D’banj, Banky W, Diamond, for remake of “Strong Girl”

Multiple Grammy award winning American rock star and lead singer of U2, Bono, collaborated with African music heavyweights such as D’banj, Femi Kuti, Banky W, Diamond Platnumz and Cobhams Asuquo in the remix of The One campaign theme song titled “Strong Girl”.

Produced by Cobhams Asuquo, the track “Strong Girl”, which advocates for women empowerment, originally featured leading African songstresses such as Waje, Yemi Alade, Victoria Kimani, Vanessa Mdee, Arielle T, Gabriela, Selmor Mtukudz, Judith Sephuma, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde and Blessing Nwafor.
