#BringBackOurGirls :Vigil held to mark the second month of the Chibok girls' disappearance.

20 May 2014 As the situation enters its second month, rallies, walks and protests continue to mark the kidnap of the Chibok girls. Organizations and governments around the world have continued to pledge support to the Nigerian government in finding the girls.

On the one month anniversary of the girls’ disappearance, the Bring Back Our Girls team in Abuja held a vigil at the ThisDay Dome. There were several speakers who again highlighted the need to find the missing girls.

In the meanwhile, President Goodluck Jonathan attend a security summit in Paris, with the Heads of State and Government of Benin Republic, Cameroon, Niger and Chad. The summit is aimed at discussing and dealing with the security threat caused by the activities of terror group, Boko Haram as well as other terror groups in West and Central Africa.
