Burna boy signs new deal with Island Records of Universal Music Group

17th April 2015 Nigerian dancehall singer and songwriter Burna Boy, who exited his former record label home Aristocrat Records last year, has recently signed a brand new deal with Island Records, a subsidiary of one of the world’s largest corporations, Universal Music Group.

Burna Boy states that he is officially the first contemporary Nigerian act to sign with the label. All the best boy.
