Sep 28, 2015 Despite mounting speculation over his retirement at the end of the season, Britain’s 2009 world champion Jenson Button maintained his cool during a news conference.
The Japanese Grand Prix news conference consisted of four other drivers, including Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel.
When asked about his rumored retirement, the 35 year old McLaren driver smiled and said:
“I can’t give you anything else really, since the last race there’s no more information to give you. You’re going to have to wait for a little while I’m sorry to say, but we’re in good talks the team and myself, that’s it.
Also speaking at the news conference, Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel, who is looking for a back to back win on a circuit he described as his favorite, said:
“I love the track, I think it’s a drivers circuit. I think we all love the track, it’s one of the old school circuits in the calendar and it’s a lot of fun. I think if you want to know what a Formula One car can do then the first sector let’s say sums it up, it says pretty much all. It’s from my point of view the best track in the world and great fun to be here,”
