Cassper Nyovest wins 5 awards at Metro Fm Music Award in South Africa

Let’s kick off with The 14th metro fm music award which went down in Durban South Africa on Saturday, seeing ace South African rapper Cassper Nyovest sweeping away a whopping 5 awards, including the biggest award of the night, the song of the year award, with the song “Doc Shebeleza”.

Cassper Nyovest also won best hip hop album, best male album with the album titled “Tsholofelo”, as well as best hit single with the track “Doc Shebeleza” and listener’s choice awards.

The event was swamped with top South African celebs including Pam Andrews, Boity, Minni Dlamini, Bonang Matheba, Kelly Khumalo and several others.

Other winners at the award include rapper Aka who won the best collaboration for the song “All eyes on me” featuring Burna Boy, Da Les & JR, Zahara won Best Selling Music Downloads, and many more.
