Celebs mourn alive and well musician Skiibii.

Aug 17, 2015 So last week, there were widespread reports online of the sudden collapse and death of Five Star Music’s signee Skiibii.

The record label later released a statement with pictures clarifying that the singer had indeed collapsed but was not dead. The 22 year old Abbey Toyyib Elias had health issues and is recuperating in a hospital.

Apparently, the shocking news of his demise had spread through like wild fire, with celebrities across Africa  such as Victoria Kimani, Phyno, Wizkid, Diamond Platnumz, Banky W, Lynxx, Patoranking, Chidinma, MI amongst others sending condolence messages over his alleged death.

Some say this was an intentional publicity stunt either by the record label or the celebrities themselves. Most of them have since then deleted their obituary tweets and instagram posts.
