Celebs turn up for White Cane Walk

Nov 18, 2015 The annual International White Cane Day for the Blind went down last week in Lagos with ace music producer Cobhams Asuquo and Nikki Laoye turning up for the event in association with Nikki Laoye’s Angel 4 Life Foundation and the Nigeria Association of the Blind (Lagos State Chapter) as well as the Old Girls of Queens College 1979 set.

In commemoration of the day the celebrities as well as over a hundred visually impaired people took part in an awareness walk from Falomo Bridge in Ikoyi to Tafawa Balewa Square.

There were also performances by Wazobia FM’s Kenny Black as well as drama presentation by students of University of Lagos.
