Chinese FM meets Malawian president for bilateral cooperation

Feb 03, 2016 Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi recently met with Malawi’s President Peter Mutharika in Lilongwe as part of his four African-nation tour.

During the meeting, the duo discussed the implementation of plans reached at the Johannesburg Summit for China-Africa Cooperation.

Afterwards, Wang also meet with his Malawian counterpart George Chaponda.

His tour will also see him visiting Mauritius, Mozambique and Namibia.
