Comedian Julius Agwu drops out of rivers state governorship race.

4th Nov 2014 Over now to someone who probably didn’t get Peter’s memo….Has ace comedian fallen off the tracks in the race for governorship in Rivers States?

Well, turns out yes. Kind of. According to thenet.ng, after 3 months of prepping for campaigns, the Thespian comedian has released a statement through his manager Prince Sunday Uwem which says,

“There was a meeting (Thursday, October 30) between Julius Agwu and his kinsmen from Ikwere, and it was agreed that he should step down from the governorship race because the current Governor Rotimi Amaechi is his friend and they are both from the same area. They’ll want the position to rotate to another part of the state and Julius Agwu has decided to listen to his people and withdraw from contesting.”

Something tells us that like Arnie, he’ll be back!
