Court upturns election of Actors Guild Of Nigeria’s President, Ibinabo Fiberesima

So, a federal high court in Lagos has demanded the removal of Nollywood actress Ibinabo Fiberesima as the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, as well as the removal of her executives.

This was based on the grounds that the election that saw Ibinabo in as president was carried out against a restraining order obtained by the then AGN president, Nollywood actor Emeka Ike.

This came about when relatively unknown Nollywood actor and former National Treasurer of AGN during Emeka’s regime, St. Maradona Mikevine, filed a law suit against Ibinabo’s regime.

However, Ibinabo maintains that she remains the president of the guild by law and will be appealing the ruling.
