Dan Maraya Jos is dead
June 22, 2015 On a sad note, legendary Hausa folklore musician Dan Maraya Jos is dead.
The celebrated praise singer died after a brief illness at the age of 69 in Jos on Saturday.
Mourning him via social media were his various fans especially from Northern Nigeria, including Kannywood star Ali Nuhu, who refers to Dan Maraya as a national hero.
May his soul rest in peace.
