Designers and models shine at Heineken Lagos Fashion & Design Week 2015

Nov 02, 2015 So, the 2015 Lagos Fashion Design Week went down at Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island Lagos between October 28 and October 31, with famous and budding designers showcasing their designs.

Opening the event on Wednesday was ace Nigerian brand Tiffany Amber with striking African designs, while celebrated Nigerian designer Lanre Da Silva Ajayi closed the event with her Spring/Summer 2015 “Geometric Fusion” collection on Saturday.

Other notable designers who showcased their collections included Meena brand, Nkwo, Lola and many more.

Winning at the Lagos Fashion and Design Week At 5 Awards was renowned designer Mai Atafo with “Womenswear Designer of the Year”, Ejiro Amos Tafiri – “Menswear designer of the year”, Zainab Ashadu – “Most Outstanding Emerging Designer of the Year” and model Kelvin Godson who won “Model of the Year” award.
