Desmond Elliot taking four years break from acting

Nov 23, 2015 Over now to the movie world – Nollywood star cum politician Desmond Elliot is going on a four year break from acting and film making, according to TheNet.ng.

Elected in April to represent Surulere constituency at the Lagos State House of Assembly, honorable Desmond Elliot wants to focus on the act of lawmaking, which he is reported to have said is an act that requires no acting.

However, the lawmaker has it that he still remains a part of Nollywood and would use his legislative position to support the industry.

Earlier in November, Desmond Elliot was spotted on set of Uche Jombo’s upcoming movie titled “Lost in US”
