Diamond Platnumz wins MTV EMA 2015 Best African Act

Oct 21, 2015 Still on big award winners, Tanzanian “Nana” singer Diamond Platnumz has won the MTV Europe Music Awards 2015 Best African Act award.

Diamond Platnumz beat other African music heavy weights such as Davido, AKA, Yemi Alade and DJ Arafat to bag the prestigious award.

Now this qualifies Diamond to battle for the Worldwide Act category, where he contests for the Best Africa/India Act, against the Best Indian Act winner.
