Director of National Orientation Agency in Jigawa state has encouraged disabled persons to collect their permanent voter’s card in Nigeria

16th March 2015 And ahead of Nigeria’s polls coming up on March 28^th, Persons living with physical challenges have been encouraged to collect Permanent Voter’s card to enable them participate in electoral activities. This call was from Mr. Shuai’bu Haruna, the Director of National Orientation Agency in Jigawa state at a one-day voter education exercise for physically challenged persons in Hadejia, Jigawa, where he also charged those in attendance to be law abiding before, during and after the polls.

The director gave the assurance that the Independent National Electoral Commission had made preparations to make their voting easy, and offer all the necessary assistance they might need. He said the exercise was conducted in collaboration with INEC and the Joint Association of Persons with Disability.
