The occasion took place to honour 300 women who were nominated by the public for their dedication, sacrifice and inspiration in different industries.
Mo Abudu, CEO of EbonyLife Films, who was unavoidably absent, was nevertheless excited at the turnout and what appeared to be a delightful evening. “We are grateful to the women who attended the event. It was our way of encouraging them to keep up the good work. We hope they had a lovely time. Loads of gratitude go to our sponsors and partners for collaborating with us on this programme,” she said.
During the evening, audiences heard briefly from guest speakers Nimi Akinkugbe, CEO of Bestman Games, and Yewande Zaccheaus, CEO of Eventful Ltd.
