Lagos Nigeria, March 06, 2016 EbonyLife TV, Africa’s first global black entertainment and lifestyle network, and Pulse, Nigeria’s online news source, announce a partnership that will include content sharing and joint promotion of each network.
The far-reaching partnership will include PulseTV shows like Pulse VoxPop and Pulse Strivia running on EbonyLife TV in their various markets. EbonyLife TV shows will run online on Pulse’s Web site, YouTube channel and social media. The partnership also includes advertising and promotion of each company on each other’s channels.
Regarding the partnership, Head of Pulse Rich Tanksley said, “We are really excited to have Pulse content on EbonyLife TV’s satellite TV network. Now Nigerians and viewers across Africa can have access to engaging Pulse content from somewhere else besides their mobile phones and computer browsers.”
Mo Abudu, CEO of EbonyLife TV said, “People actively consume media from a broad spectrum of devices and partnering with Pulse will create a convergence model that will enable the African youth unlimited access to stories about Africa, told from an African perspective.” Part of the reason for the collaboration, according to Sandra Amadio, HOD Entertainment and Program Marketing for EbonyLife TV, is that “It will propel the continuation of inspiring a connected Afropolitan Consciousness.”
