As the season five of the yearly Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards draws nearer in anticipation, the full list of nominations have been released and Mo Abudu’s EbonyLife TV once again proves a reckoning force in African entertainment television as the year-old pan-African channel gets nominated in 14 categories.

The Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards recognizes broadcasters who have distinguished themselves as role models, mentors, pacesetters and propagators of social change in the society. It is a standard platform where hardworking broadcasters in Nigeria are rewarded for their brilliance and tenacity.

– Outstanding TV presenter (Male) (Entertainment/Talk Show) -Ekeng Bassey (EL Now)
– Outstanding TV presenter (Female) (Entertainment/Talk Show) – Oreka Godis (Love Lounge on EbonyLife TV)
– Sexiest On-Air Personality-Female -Zainab Balogun (Ebony Life TV)
– Cameraman of the Year -Alfred Chia (EbonylifeTV)
– Producer of the Year – Folarin Olukunle (The Spot EbonylifeTv)
– Station’s Director/Manager of the year – Ayoola Opere (EbonyLifeTV)
– Editor of the year – Segun Oderinde (Moment with Mo)
– African Presenter of the Year -Female -Dolapo Oni (Nigeria)
While the verification process is still progress, a public voting system will also apply in finalizing the modifications .The event is billed to hold on Saturday, October 25, 2014.
