Freeriders compete in Chamonix
Feb 10, 2016 The world’s best freeriders in skiing and snowboarding recently took part in the second leg of the Freeride World Tour 2016 in Chamonix.
The athletes competed on the 2400 meter high east face Aiguille Pourrie, on the French side of Mont Blanc which offered a picturesque background.
France’s Loic Collomb-Patton won the men’s ski event with 89.33 points while the women’s category was won by defending champion Eva Walkner of Austria with 83.00 points.
The men’s Snowboard division was won by Sammy Lubke of the U.S. with a score of 92.00 while the women’s snowboard was taken by French/Swiss boarder Anne-Flore Marxer who scored 84.00 points.
