Ghanaian comedian Bishop Bob Okala is dead

Mar 18, 2016 Ghana’s self-acclaimed father of comedy, Bishop Bob Okala, is dead.

The 59 year old Ghanaian comedian known for his signature huge glasses had collapsed on stage while performing at Koforidua Jackson Park on Saturday.

He was rushed to the hospital where he later gave up the ghost in the early hours of Sunday.

Bob Okala had cut down on public appearances due to his ill health until he decided to perform at the Koforidua carnival.

May his soul rest in peace.
