GHANA’S U20 WOMEN’S FOOTBALL TEAM MEETS THE COMPETITION

07 Mar 2014 More sports news, but this time from Modern Ghana with the report that Ghana’s U20 women’s team have drawn hosts Canada, Finland and Korea Republic for the 2014 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.

Two years ago in Japan, the Back Princesses lost all three matches to finish at the foot of Group D behind giants, USA, Germany and China.They will be seeking to progress from the Group stage for the first time on their third appearance in the finals of the tournament.

The U20 Women’s World Cup will hold in August this year.
