Ghana’s World Cup drama inspires Hollywood Movie

3rd July 2014 Still talking Hollywood, award-winning American writer Darryl Wharton-Rigby has been commissioned by US production company Bugeater to work on a thriller movie based on Ghana’s World Cup $3million drama.

The script is about a courier who is tasked with transporting $3million to an African football team, which has refused to play until it is paid in cash.

The courier gets high jacked and has 12 hours to recover the stolen money.

It looks like the Ghanaian team’s cash shortage disaster will not be forgotten any time soon.
