27 Feb 2014 Next up is not so cheery news as we gather QuestionMark Entertainment Boss Kelvin Luciano sued KCEE’s Five-Star Music. All the hullabaloo is targeted at singer Harrysong for jumping over his contract with QuestionMark Entertainment to sign with FiveStar Music.
According to Qmark’s statement, HarrySong’s contract which began in 2009 has not been fulfilled or completed.
The Net.ng reports that Question Mark boss had exhausted all avenues to come to a peaceful resolution but to no avail.
Responding to the lawsuit, KCEE’S manager and legal executive has revealed that although they hadn’t received a court injunction yet, they were working to settle the dispute amicably.
Artists/ record label disputes are not uncommon in the music business with artists such as Street Monks, Kel, Vector and more recently Brymo having scuffles with their labels.
