Liberian President expresses her Hope Over the 3,000 Expected Medical Troops from US

22nd Sep 2014 And elsewhere in West Africa, Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has expressed her hope that U.S. President Barack Obama’s decision to send 3,000 troops to West Africa to battle the worst Ebola outbreak on record would motivate other countries to help. “We remain in touch with the leaders of other governments to take similar steps and join us in partnership to end this disease,” she said.
